The building’s story
Raw concrete overhead, the canal right below the window, and the bike path running past the front door. Griffintown grew up along the Lachine Canal, among factories and warehouses. Gallery sur le Canal borrows that material without pretending to be old.
At 1340 rue Olier, Phase 1 is where it all began. Built in 2015, it rises 14 storeys and holds 134 units, from 421 sq ft to 2,523 sq ft. Phases 2 and 3 followed at 1330 and 1320, forming a single ensemble on the canal.
Inside, the structure stays visible: 9-foot concrete ceilings, industrial-style windows, balconies. Depending on the unit, the view runs toward the canal, and some units open directly onto the shared rooftop terrace. Picture a drink at sunset, a few steps from your door.
The three phases share their spaces: the indoor pool, three gyms, rooftop terraces with BBQs and a landscaped inner courtyard that opens onto the Lachine Canal bike path.
Outside is Griffintown. Parc Olier, the Peel Basin, Atwater Market by bike, Old Montreal on foot. Lucien-L'Allier metro station is an 18-minute walk, Bonaventure 19.
Phase 1 speaks to people who want the canal as a backyard, in a contemporary condo that keeps its concrete in plain sight.
Every property has a story. Gallery 1's begins on the canal, where Griffintown grew up. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Olivier Mailloux and Amélie Flanagan, real estate brokers, follow the Griffintown market closely and work with buyers and sellers across Montreal.

Your broker for this building
We know Les Lofts Gallery sur le Canal – Phase 1.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
