The building’s story
Ten feet of concrete overhead, sometimes eleven, exposed beams and, at the very top of the building, a terrace with an outdoor pool. At Lofts des Arts, your eyes go up before they settle on the city.
The ten-storey building on rue Clark began as an industrial building, constructed in the early twentieth century. A major restoration, spread from 2003 to 2011, turned it into a condominium: the declaration of co-ownership was signed on February 11, 2010. It was not dressed up as a loft. It became one.
Inside, the look comes from the building itself: concrete ceilings of 10 to 11 feet, exposed beams, large windows and, in some units, a brick wall or wood floors. According to our information, units range from 739 sq. ft. to 2,828 sq. ft., and the top floor has penthouses.
Day to day, the building offers elevators, indoor parking, a fitness room and a shared rooftop terrace with an outdoor pool, recently redone. Security is provided at the building. Average condo fees are around $0.82 per square foot per month.
Outside is the Quartier des Spectacles: Place des Arts, Place des Festivals, Sainte-Catherine Street, UQAM and Complexe Desjardins. Saint-Laurent metro station is about a 3-minute walk, and Place-des-Arts and Berri-UQAM stations are within walking distance. Chinatown and Old Montreal are reachable on foot.
Lofts des Arts speaks to people who want to live between the concert halls and the festivals: creatives, young professionals, culture lovers and investors.
Every loft has a story. The story of Lofts des Arts starts on rue Clark, in a former industrial brick building. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Olivier Mailloux and Amélie Flanagan, real estate brokers, follow the downtown loft market closely and work with buyers and sellers across Montreal.

Your broker for this building
We know Les Lofts Des Arts.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
