The building’s story
On boulevard Saint-Laurent, between rue Maguire and rue Saint-Viateur, an industrial building from the 1970s keeps its concrete build, right in the heart of Mile End.
In 2010 the building became 32 lofts, eight per floor over four levels. A new concrete and steel structure joined the old one, and the workshop spirit stayed: concrete floors, wide windows, open volumes.
Picture the door opening onto one big room. Your eye travels up to ceilings of about 11 feet, and up to 12 feet on the top floor. The concrete floor, often finished in epoxy, bounces back the light from the windows. Based on our information, units range from 597 sq. ft. to 1,555 sq. ft., from a studio for one to a large loft with two or three bedrooms.
On the roof, a shared terrace looks out over Mount Royal and the downtown towers. Top-floor units also have a reserved space to build a private rooftop terrace, under the building's agreement and city rules. The building has an elevator, indoor parking and storage lockers in the basement.
Outside is the Mile End that works and eats well: the bagels of rue Saint-Viateur, the cafés along the boulevard, the Ubisoft offices a few blocks away and Little Italy just to the north. Laurier metro is about a 15-minute walk.
Les Lofts Mile End speak to people who want real concrete volume, a rooftop terrace and boulevard Saint-Laurent as their main street.
Every loft has a story. The story of Les Lofts Mile End begins in an industrial building on boulevard Saint-Laurent. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Your broker for this building
We know Les Lofts Mile End.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
