The building’s story
On the top floor, the ceiling rises to 18 feet and the bedroom floats on a mezzanine above the living room. That is the image people keep of Lofts Saint-Raphaël, on boulevard Pie-IX, steps from Promenade Ontario.
The building arrived in 2005, just as the neighbourhood was starting to call itself HoMa. Le Devoir described it in 2006 as an upscale soft loft project, designed by its developer and architect, Stéphane Robert. No old factory to convert: new construction that borrows the loft's volumes and light. Brick, stone and metal panels give the facade its industrial look.
There are 46 lofts on four storeys. On the first three, ceilings come close to 9 feet. On the fourth, two-level units climb to 18 feet, with the bedroom on a mezzanine. Some units have a brick wall, others a gas fireplace. According to our information, units range from 726 sq ft to 1,959 sq ft.
On the roof, a shared terrace for summer evenings, and a few private terraces for fourth-floor units. An elevator, indoor parking, a storage locker for every unit and bike racks take care of the rest.
Downstairs, boulevard Pie-IX leads to Pie-IX metro, on the Green line, in an 11-minute walk. Promenade Ontario, Maisonneuve Market and Place Valois are a few streets away, with Olympic Park and Parc Maisonneuve just to the north.
Lofts Saint-Raphaël suits people who want height and light, with the comfort of a recent building.
Every loft has a story. Saint-Raphaël's begins in 2005, on boulevard Pie-IX. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Olivier Mailloux and Amélie Flanagan, real estate brokers, follow the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve loft market closely and work with buyers and sellers across Montreal.

Your broker for this building
We know Le Saint-Raphaël.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
