The building’s story
People once came here to see a movie. Today, several lofts have their own door at street level. Les Lofts Ritz occupy a 1947 neighbourhood cinema on Rue Bélanger, transformed in 2004 into 11 lofts by the architecture firm YH2.
The theatre left its mark. Concrete and steel joists remain exposed, and large skylights bring light to the upper floor. Most units spread over two levels, like a small townhouse carved out of the former cinema.
Based on our information, units range from approximately 826 to 1,200 sq. ft. On the ground floor, the living areas open onto large windows. Upstairs, ceilings reach up to 14 feet above the bedroom and an office. In some units, a double-sided gas fireplace separates the living room from the dining area.
Fabre metro is a 7-minute walk away, and Jean-Talon is 12 minutes. Plaza Saint-Hubert and Jean-Talon Market are within walking distance, for errands and evenings out.
