The building’s story
Eleven and a half feet of ceiling, with bare concrete beams overhead. According to past listings, the building on rue Clark is a former printing plant built in 1954, when the Mile End still ran on the rhythm of its workshops.
In 2006 it became Les Lofts Clark: 20 lofts on four floors, with three doors on the street, at 4615, 4625 and 4635. The structure was left in sight. The columns, concrete ceilings and sprinkler pipes are still exposed, and the concrete keeps the quiet of a building made to carry printing presses.
Picture a second-floor loft: 11 to 12-foot ceilings, large windows and, in several units, a mezzanine that holds the bedroom above the living space. Higher up, the penthouses stretch over two levels and open onto private terraces facing Mount Royal. Based on our information, units range from 518 sq. ft. to 1,911 sq. ft.
On the ground floor, an indoor garage holds a few parking spaces, the storage lockers and the bikes.
Rue Clark is a small one-way residential street with a bike lane, on the line between the Mile End and the Plateau. Avenue du Mont-Royal and boulevard Saint-Laurent are steps away, with their cafés, grocers and terraces. Jeanne-Mance Park and Mount Royal are within walking distance, and Mont-Royal metro is about an 11-minute walk.
Les Lofts Clark speaks to people who want raw concrete and height, in a 20-loft building, in the heart of the Mile End.
Every loft has a story. The story of Les Lofts Clark begins in a 1954 printing plant, on a small Mile End street. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Olivier Mailloux and Amélie Flanagan, real estate brokers, follow the Plateau Mont-Royal loft market closely and work with buyers and sellers across Montreal.

Your broker for this building
We know Les Lofts Clark.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
