The building’s story
Sixteen feet of ceiling height. On the top floor of the Oxxford, one penthouse opens its living room to ceilings rising up to 16 feet, then to a rooftop terrace.
Before the lofts, there was a factory. The building dates back to 1910 and, according to listings, it housed the manufacture of trousers. In 2008 it was converted into a condominium of 23 lofts, a project signed by the firm Campanella Associés with fashion designer Philippe Dubuc, again according to those listings. The declaration of co-ownership was published on April 16, 2008.
The industrial character is still there. Depending on the unit: polished concrete floors with an epoxy finish, a brick wall, large windows. Ceilings range from 9.5 feet on the second floor to 10 feet on the ground floor, and up to 16 feet for the penthouse. According to our information, units range from 666 sq. ft. to 3,122 sq. ft., across 3 floors with an elevator, and the building has indoor parking and storage lockers.
Rue Saint-Timothée is quiet, yet downtown is within walking distance. The Champ-de-Mars metro station is a 9-minute walk away. Old Montreal and the Old Port are within walking distance, as are UQAM and the neighbourhood's cafés and restaurants.
The Oxxford speaks to people who like raw lofts and generous volumes, and who want to live downtown, a walk from Old Montreal: professionals, creatives, design lovers.
Every loft has a story. The story of the Oxxford starts in 1910, in a factory on rue Saint-Timothée. Our job is to help you find the one that becomes yours. Olivier Mailloux and Amélie Flanagan, real estate brokers, follow the downtown loft market closely and work with buyers and sellers across Montreal.

Your broker for this building
We know LE OXXFORD.
We follow this building one listing at a time: the corner units, the floors that catch the sun, what the co-ownership fees actually cover. That’s been our specialty since 2010.
“My job isn’t to sell you this building. It’s to tell you honestly whether it’s the right one for you, or whether we should look elsewhere.”
Whether you’re comparing two buildings, ready to make an offer, or just curious what a loft looks like inside, we take the time it takes. No pressure.
