Address : 2450 Rue Sainte-Cunégonde, Montréal
Occupying an entire city block near the Lachine Canal in Montreal, The Éclusiers Lofts is a four-story building with 82 condos. The original two-story brick structure was built to house upholstery machinery in 1873.
The building is a striking example of late 19th century industrial architecture in Montreal. It features three-ply load-bearing masonry walls, solid wood construction and double tongue and groove floors.
EVOQ Management Company added a new two-story glass and steel structure to this historic building that was beautifully executed to ensure that it did not detract from its industrial ambiance. A real modern feel in a building rich in history!
