Sud-Ouest is an area rich in working-class history that has managed to renew itself. Once one of the most important industrial districts in the country, it is quickly becoming a trendy area thanks, in large part, to its Quartier de l’innovation and properties that have been skillfully renovated or redesigned.

A seasoned developer, Prével has definitely carved out a place for itself in the real estate market. The Lowney is one of its finest achievements and the group makes no secret of it. Avant-garde and affordable, this loft-style condo project once again offers its residents a dream urban life in a choice area, and all this at a very respectable price range. Built within the former Lowney factory (1895), birthplace of the famous Cherry Blossom, the complex advocates sustainable development, a sensible way to build the future. Reconverted in 2005, the Lowney is a beautiful project with an ecological dimension and a certain charm. The Lowney consists of lofts divided into 5 phases with functional design, open to light and space. To maximize the size of the common rooms such as the living room or the kitchen, the architects decided to reduce the size of the bedroom, a conclusion reached following one of their studies which proved to them that people preferred large closets rather than cumbersome dressers to store their clothes. So it's good to live in these beautiful, light-filled lofts with concrete ceilings and clean, light shapes. With 30 years of experience in the field, Prével has shown once again with the Lowney that the group intends to dominate this very tough market that is the construction of housing complexes. The Lowney now has more than 100 condos linking Notre-Dame, William and Ottawa streets. Lofts ranging in size from 400 sq. ft. to over 1200 sq. ft. As with all Prével constructions, there is the inevitable rooftop terrace with its urban cottages. The Lowney's little plus: they are all connected by suspended walkways. What could be better than the outdoor pool with its magnificent view of downtown and Old Montreal? For the more athletic, the exercise rooms, spas, hammams and indoor pool will charm you. The common areas are a true extension of your unit where you can relax or even develop affinities with the other residents. Be sure to check out these trendy lofts in the heart of the South-West that exude comfort and serenity. For more information about this building, contact us!View Details

2855 Rue Centre
It all began in April 1996 for the Sherwill Lofts. Determined to restore the downtown areas, the City of Montreal with the financial assistance of the Province of Quebec established an intensive restoration program. The goal was to bring back to life these heritage buildings whose scattered old timbers were crumbling over the years. Many of these buildings were the unwitting hosts of squatters or young artists with a penchant for graffiti, and when they weren't, there was a fear that their damaged structures would collapse. Many of these industrial buildings found a second life as young buyers eager to move into their brand new condominiums and finally enjoy homeownership. The Sherwill Lofts found a home in the former Sherwin Williams & Co Paint Manufacturing ltd. factory established in 1880 on the banks of the Lachine Canal. The second to last phase of the project, the lofts now inhabit the former administration offices built in 1880 and converted in 1998. For the time, such a construction was considered innovative and the success was fast. The loft formula appealed to new buyers, as it allowed the owner to do the desired layout himself with one or two closed rooms. Inside, the design is simple, with brick walls and original wood finishes giving the loft the necessary charm. Ceilings up to 12 feet high are quite impressive with dozens of perfectly interlocking wooden slats. Some even have two mezzanines, a rare configuration on the market! In all units, you will be amazed by the light that truly floods the lofts from morning to night, with the corner units being particularly blessed in this regard. Parking is available for residents, and for the outdoor enthusiasts, there is the opportunity to picnic in the park across the street or to ride the bike path along the beautiful Lachine Canal. Like the Argenson Lofts, the Sherwill Lofts have a unique character and stunning architecture. For more information about this building, contact us!View Details

The more luxurious side of the project can be seen in the granite countertops in the kitchen or the modern bathtub adjacent to the shower in the bathroom.
